What are fleas?

Flea infestation

Fleas begin their lifecycle by hitching a ride on your pet and feeding. After feeding, a single female can lay up to 40 eggs per day, these fall off into the home, rapidly resulting in a population explosion that infests your home and the environment. Flea bites result in skin disease through irritation, and they are the most common parasite of dogs and cats.

Selapro and flea infestation

  • Selapro kills adult and larval fleas and stops flea eggs from being viable, helping control the environment where flea infestation occurs.
  • Prevent the build-up of fleas in the environment by using Selapro each month all year round.
  • To obtain maximum flea control, it is recommended that all cats and dogs in the same environment are treated.

Flea allergy dermatitis

Skin disease results when your pet is allergic to the saliva in a flea bite. Just one bite can begin irritation that makes your pet scratch. The irritation from flea allergies continues resulting in hair loss, redness, inflammation and causes intense irritation for your pet.
